The introduction of the new corporate identity of the
Rijksmuseum was accompanied by a national bust-up on the new space between ‚ÄòRijks’ and ‚Äòmuseum’. Suddenly it was not written as one word anymore, but not everybody agreed. Piet Schreuders, the designer of this book, decided not to follow the new spelling of the museum’s name, but personally killed the space on the cover and throughout the rest of this book. #spatierel
