What’s the difference between trying Desktop and Webfonts on this website?
Our type tester has 2 options: Desktop fonts & webfonts. Although they are technically slightly different, both options allow you to quickly preview your own text.
Desktop fonts = images. The rasterizing depends on your browser. OpenType features just rock, as the .svg’s are generated on our server. In case your browser is too old to support .svg, it will load a .png image instead.
Webfonts = dynamic text. Not only the rendering, but also the OpenType feature support depend on the capacity of your browser.
